Shojin-ryori (Buddhist Vegetarian Cuisine)

Trainee priests eat vegetarian food cooked in a style called shojin-ryori, which is based on the Buddhist ideal of venerating all forms of life and bringing forth the bounty of nature at its most delicious. Visitors to Mount Takao may try it by making a reservation at 042-661-1115(Only Japanese).
